Position: Software Engineer

Anicca Data is seeking a motivated Software Engineer who is eager to tackle complex challenges and apply their skills to innovative solutions. This role will primarily focus on developing code to manage large-scale data and working with intricate data structures. The successful candidate will contribute to existing codebases or create optimized new ones, driving performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather user requirements and define project objectives.
* Identify dependencies and produce design documents for various products, applications, services, or platforms.
* Write, optimize, debug, and refactor code to enhance performance, maintainability, and return on investment.
* Utilize expertise in product features to assist project managers in developing project plans and tracking work items.
* Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), mentoring fellow engineers and overseeing system monitoring to promptly address any degradation, downtime, or interruptions.
* Continuously seek out new knowledge and adapt to emerging trends and technical solutions to enhance product availability, reliability, and performance while ensuring consistent monitoring and operations at scale.
Technical Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in C# and C++, with proficiency in ASP.NET or similar technologies.
* Familiarity with kernel debugging, networking, NGS, MonkeyService, and Linux.
* Experience with network booting and scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
* Strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficient in SQL/MySQL for database management.
* Experience in developing large-scale distributed services.
* Knowledge of PowerBI, Azure DevOps, Kusto, Cosmos DB, and CIS is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Azure 204 Certification.
* Immediate availability for joining the team.
Education:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
* 5+ years of software engineering experience; expertise in building real-time applications is a plus.
