Temple Bar Hotel Dublin is seeking a, Bar Manager to join the team in it's unique four star hotel. You will report to the Director Food and Beverage, ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during your shift. You will be responsible for overseeing bar operations, ensuring the smooth operation of the bar during your shift. Managing guest service standards, supervising bar staff, and handling guest concerns to provide an exceptional and seamless experience. Your role is essential in maintaining the efficiency, safety, and overall atmosphere of the bar. A Bar Manager will be responsible for: Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the bar. Maintaining cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations. Handling customer complaints and resolving issues efficiently. Recruiting, training, and supervising bar staff. Scheduling shifts and managing payroll-related tasks. Motivating staff to provide excellent customer service. Creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Monitoring customer satisfaction and handling special requests. Managing promotions, events, and special offers to enhance business. Monitoring sales, revenue, and profitability. Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste. Setting and managing budgets, pricing strategies, and cost controls. Ensuring compliance with liquor laws and licensing requirements. Enforcing responsible alcohol service policies. Keeping up with local regulations and training staff accordingly. To be successful in the role of Bar Manager we require: Proven experience as a Bar Manager, Assistant Bar Manager, or similar role in a fast-paced environment. Strong skills in motivating staff and fostering a positive work environment. Ability to handle staff or customer disputes professionally. Skills in boosting sales through promotions, events, and special offers. Quick decision-making skills to handle customer complaints or service issues. Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. Ensuring quality control, hygiene, and operational efficiency. Experience in managing beverage stock, reducing waste, and optimizing supply chain processes. Passion for hospitality and the ability to create a lively atmosphere. Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Strong sense of accountability and integrity. Ability to recruit, train, and manage a team effectively. A passion for providing top-tier guest experiences. Strong understanding of bar operations, mixology, and beverage trends. Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability. Knowledge of licensing laws, health & safety regulations, and responsible alcohol service.
