Job Description
Scope of Position: Support the dispatch & collection of shipments in an efficient & timely manner. Liaising with operations, effectively managing and negotiating costs and ensuring sub-contractors & hauliers are operating as per Expeditors requirements.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate the deliveries throughout Ireland
2. Complete and delegate the daily drivers sheets for the Dublin area
3. Manage all country deliveries through approved country hauliers
4. Maintain the collection database & coordinate pickups with drivers throughout the day
5. Delegate domestic jobs for the Dublin Office
6. Responsible for interdepartmental & external billing on a monthly basis
7. Monitor the collections & airport drivers
8. Source pricing for deliveries or collections where needed
9. Organise any special deliveries or collections where needed
Qualifications
1. Ability to work on one's own initiative
2. PC literate
3. Excellent communication & organisational skills
