The Firgrove Hotel Mitchelstown is now recruiting for the position of receptionist.
Duties:
1. To carry out all Reception duties, working as part of the Front Office Team.
2. To ensure complete guest satisfaction through the prompt handling of guest queries in a friendly and efficient manner.
3. To anticipate guests' needs and ensure that service is provided to the level they require and beyond their expectations.
4. To develop a strong working relationship with colleagues in your department and related departments.
5. To ensure all cashiering and reporting procedures are adhered to.
6. Assist other departments on a daily basis and maintain good working relationships with team members.
7. Handling telephone enquiries for all areas of the hotel.
8. Cash handling and taking reservations.
9. Attention to detail in relation to all admin work.
10. Ensure all sales opportunities are explored and fully followed up.
The ideal candidate for this position:
1. Must have previous experience in a similar hotel role.
2. Have night auditing / end of day cashier duties experience.
3. Have previous bar / waitressing experience.
4. Be flexible with regards to hours.
5. Have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
6. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. PMS experience, preferably Hotsoft.
