Carriage House
We are seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead our Michelin Plate-awarded Carriage House team. Located just a short walk from the Manor, The Carriage House is a destination in its own right, offering a relaxed environment with a focus on genuine heartfelt service.
Responsibilities
1. Deliver superior service and maximise guest engagement
2. Gather guests' feedback, resolve guest issues, and recommend improvements
3. Organise and supervise shifts
4. Remain hands-on throughout the entire shift and assist as needed
5. Hold the team accountable to our Beyond Everything standards while remaining hands-on and leading by example
6. Ensure the team is well-educated on menu items
7. Control operational costs and identify measures to minimise waste
8. Train new and current team members on the agreed sequence of service
9. Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
10. Additional responsibilities as provided by Senior Leadership in The Carriage House
Requirements
1. Experience within a similar role
2. A strong leadership presence and a proactive hands-on role to engage with guests and support colleagues on all levels
3. An inspirational leader who is passionate about creating highly energised teams to provide world-class service
4. Fluent in spoken and written English
5. Ability to work in a pressured environment with high-expectation guests
6. Extensive knowledge of food and beverage
7. Commercially astute and have solid financial awareness
