Maintenance Electrician in Manufacturing
This is a great opportunity for an electrically biased Maintenance Electrician to join our manufacturing plant and contribute to the smooth operation of all electrical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on manufacturing equipment.
* Work with motors, control panels, PLCs, sensors, and automated systems.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimize breakdowns.
* Assist with machinery installations, upgrades, and modifications.
* Ensure all work complies with health & safety and regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to resolve any issues efficiently.
Requirements:
* Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
* Strong experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Knowledge of PLC fault finding, control panels, and automation systems.
* Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults quickly and effectively.
* A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
