Role OverviewThis role reports to the Head of Research and Innovation Partnerships and is responsible for developing & delivering a communication & engagement strategy for ExO hub.
This person will ensure we are meeting the needs of all our stakeholders to support delivery of our strategic agenda.
A key priority for 2025 will be the establishment of a content hub and development of an ongoing engagement strategy.
More specific responsibilities will includeResearch Support and Content Production:
- Conduct research on key trends and source insightful material from academia, service providers, information platforms, and domain authorities.
- Gather and summarise insights from live external and internal sources, including meetings, engagements, presentations, and interviews.
- Assist the Team Lead and the ExO Hub Innovation team in designing and producing compelling communications across various media formats, including documents, decks, videos, and podcasts.Content Distribution, Communications & Engagement Strategy:
- Develop and deliver a Communications & Engagement Strategy in collaboration with the Head of Research and Partnerships.
- Build a Content Hub to lead the communications agenda, ensuring timely, high-quality information delivery about initiatives and activities to relevant audiences.
- Influence thinking, drive action, and inform execution and decision-making through effective and timely content distribution.Leadership Support, Events & Logistics:
- Support leadership in delivering presentations, updates, and communication requirements.
- Support the logistical planning and execution of strategy research trips and engagements.
- Organise and deliver successful Community Engagement Events and Seminars in collaboration with the Head of Research & Partnerships.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders across business areas.Brand building, Storytelling and Communication Standards:
- Develop storytelling capabilities across the team.
- Define and set communications standards for the team.
- Lead and influence the building of the team's 'Brand' within the organisation.
- Lead the people group agenda to deliver initiatives within the team throughout the year.Measurement and Improvement:
- Develop and manage a communications and engagement measurement dashboard with appropriate KPIs.
- Ensure continuous improvement in communications and engagement.
- Identify and track internal audiences to understand key problems and opportunities.
- Drive research efforts based on insights from internal engagement.What you will need to be successful in the roleEnthusiastic, well organised & delivery focusedPersonable with excellent communication skillsRelationship Management experience with a deep understanding of the importance of stakeholder management & engagementStrong ability to influence at all levels with a view to engaging and creating buy-in to support delivery of strategic goalsExperience in design, production and marketing content, communication creation and distribution for multiple audience typesTechnical expertise and understanding of building an engagement / communication platform is an advantage, along with knowledge across different platforms and tools including MSFT suite especially Powerpoint, graphics, and video tools.Ability to deliver initiatives and projects with multiple stakeholders to strict deadlines and to the highest standardWorks on own initiative, can manage the work of others as necessary and effectively collaborateProactive with a continuous drive for improvementAbility to take ownership of personal learning and developmentAbout usIrish Life is one of Ireland's largest financial institutions with a presence across a range of financial services markets.
