Job Description: Cluain Mhuire is a national center of innovation in public mental health service provision delivering a community-based adult mental health service for the South East Coast of Co. Dublin to a catchment area of some 182,000 people approximately.
In addition to general adult mental health services, Cluain Mhuire provides early intervention in psychosis, ADHD, gender, and general hospital mental health services.
Locum Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist Special Interest in Rehabilitation (Part-Time 0.8 WTE, Specified Purpose approx.
1 year) Saint John of God Community Services, Cluain Mhuire Services, are now inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Locum Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist with Special Interest in Rehabilitation on a Locum (approx.
3 years) Part-Time (0.8 WTE) basis.
The consultant will be part of a community mental health team.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative, and committed to providing a quality service that responds to the needs and priorities of our service users.
The following professional qualifications and experience apply to this appointment:
Must be on the Specialist Register for General Adult Psychiatry maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland or entitlement to be so registered within a six month period.
Initial Location The initial location of this role is Sandyford, Dublin 18 .
However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS's other places of business or/and the premises of such associated companies or organizations as SJOG CS may require.
You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable.
