Food Service Manager Role at Lidon Group
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to fill the position of Food Service Manager at Monread Fare in Naas, Co. Kildare.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the fast food department, ensuring its smooth operation, and overseeing daily tasks, staff management, food quality, scheduling, budgeting, and other key aspects associated with successfully managing a fast food restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure efficient and effective operation of the department at all times.
* Assist the Department Manager in the day-to-day management of the Supermac's/Papa John's sections, maintaining high standards.
* Train staff members on HACCP and safety procedures, customer service skills, and overall job requirements.
* Monitor margins, address any issues, and conduct proactive reviews.
* Promote new ideas to increase sales in the department.
* Manage staff rostering and people management in collaboration with the Department Manager.
* Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction with the product.
* Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
* Order stock, control inventory, and minimize waste.
* Set challenging goals that inspire and motivate staff and the team.
Desirable Attributes:
* 3+ years of experience in a management position in a fast-paced food outlet, preferably in the fast food industry.
* Strong business acumen, marketing, leadership, and people skills.
* Excellent communication skills, solution-focused, with a high drive and positive attitude.
