Although this role is primarily focused on technical support, you will have opportunities to work on future Consultancy & Implementation projects.Senior Oracle E-Business Technical ConsultantYou will be:Providing day-to-day support and quality assuranceProviding hands-on technical & development support for implemented ERP modulesCreating and documenting business requirements on IT projectsDocumenting and managing technical specifications and software packagesAssisting in defining and optimizing simple yet effective business processes and drive change within the organization through negotiation and consensus-buildingOverseeing that ERP initiatives follow the proper planning, scheduling and management processesLeading on-time project delivery and business expectations and ensure internal customer satisfactionProviding hands on analysis, design, testing, implementation and post implementation support utilizing prescribed software design lifecycle techniques and system documentation techniques (AIMS/OUM)Completing development tasks based on requirements submitted by business partners and best practicesAssisting with risk management and change management on projectsQualificationsYou will have:Experience within Oracle E-Business or an equivalent ERP technology.Extensive knowledge of Oracle development tools, ie-Business application functionality, system administration, database structure, and knowledge of a multi-Org architectureTechnical requirements (Essential): SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Reports/Forms, Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle WorkflowTechnical requirements (Desirable): OAF, APEX, Unix Script, Java, XML Publisher, JDeveloper, AMEIn-depth experience translating business requirements and design into technical solutionsKnowledge of Oracle R11i/12 ideal with some functional knowledge of core Oracle EBS Modules would be beneficialITIL process KnowledgeAbility to research, learn, troubleshoot and support complex system customisationsWillingness to operate and progress in areas that are outside of previous experienceAbility to multi-task and prioritise across concurrent projects may be required.Excellent written and verbal communication
