Job Description The purpose of this job is to provide laboratory support services relating to water sampling, operating waste, autoclaves and performing cleans on a QC Lab area simulating an ISO-graded clean room under the customer quality system, using customer company procedures, and while adhering to Eurofins general policies and standards.
Assisting laboratory analytical personnel and perform ad-hoc lab duties as required.
Responsible for carrying out water sampling in grey space sampling areas and for accurately logging samples into the relevant systems in a timely manner as required.
Responsible for ensuring all relevant documentation is completed accurately and logged where necessary.
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the autoclaves: set-up and preparation of items to be autoclaved in a timely manner.
To ensure that the autoclaves are operating correctly as per procedural requirements and that autoclave loads are carried out as per the validated load patterns.
Responsible for carrying out all periodic autoclave checks.
Responsible for maintaining CTU cleanliness and perform sample disposals.
Responsible for cleaning laboratory and equipment as required e.g.
autoclaves, BSC's, CTUs etc.
Immediately notify the PSS Group Lead/PSS Shift Lead or a customer representative, any anomalous or non-conformances.
Responsible for performing a clean on a daily basis and a full room clean on a monthly basis in a QC Lab area simulating an ISO-graded clean room. Responsible for performing ad-hoc cleans as requested from the customer. Qualifications Degree in relevant scientific discipline.
Familiarity with pharmaceutical and/or laboratory operations (GMP, Documentation, Autoclaves, Aseptic Technique) Preferred 6 months laboratory/GMP experience.
