The Corporate Action Team are responsible for managing, interpreting, enhancing and reporting corporate events content for equity markets and other asset classes including funds. With market complexity increasing, managing our corporate events in the timeliest and most accurate manner while delivering key insights to clients stands as a top priority. Leveraging deep product knowledge, strong client relationships and interactions, and innovative thinking the team is constantly striving to develop the best-in-class Corporate Events product.The Corporate Action Team covers all equity-related corporate events including: Cash Dividends, Rights Offering, Spin Off, Divestiture, Meetings etc.
What will you do?
1. Use your analytical abilities to improve the coverage and quality of the corporate actions database by on-boarding, maintaining and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the data.
2. Develop and increase knowledge across all Corporate Events
3. Assist our world-renowned client support help desk with escalated client enquiries
4. Apply problem-solving skills to identify innovative work-flow efficiencies and implement technology solutions to enhance our processes and software
5. Work closely with our Client’s Engineering and Product development teams to contribute to the future development and strategic direction of the product
6. Manage large and complex data projects related to Corporate Events
7. Take ownership and be active with key areas of responsibility.
Candidate profile
8. Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject e.g. Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Economics or equivalent work experience
9. Fluency in English and one of the following languages; German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish
10. Strong interpersonal and client relationship building abilities
11. Self-starter with demonstrable entrepreneurial skills
12. Ability to work to tight, conflicting deadlines
13. Prior experience or strong knowledge and understanding of corporate finance
14. Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced changing environment
15. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
