Lincoln Recruitment are pleased to be working with a manufacturing business to recruit a HR Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is to support the site’s GM and Group HRD to ensure a first class HR service is delivered to site. The role has two direct reports. Flexible start times are possible.
Pension post probation.
Duties:
* Oversee and manage all recruitment activities, ensuring the attraction and retention of top-tier talent across all departments.
* Lead the Annual Talent Cycle in collaboration with the Management Team, General Manager, and HR Director to drive talent development and succession planning.
* Provide expert advice and support to the management team on HR-related matters, ensuring compliance with Irish employment law and best practices.
* Mentor and develop the HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
* Lead and contribute to strategic HR projects aligned with the organisation’s People Agenda.
* Champion Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, ensuring an inclusive, forward-thinking workplace culture.
* Drive the employee wellbeing strategy, promoting a healthy and supportive work environment.
* Lead the annual employee engagement survey, analysing results and advising the management team on actionable insights.
* Provide guidance to managers and supervisors on employee relations, including disciplinary processes, performance management, and conflict resolution.
* Proactively manage industrial relations (IR) and employee relations (ER) issues, fostering positive workplace relationships.
* Serve as the primary point of contact with Trade Union representatives.
* Act as the key liaison between the Occupational Health Provider and site management, proactively managing long-term sick leave and absence cases in partnership with line managers.
* Ensure compliance with the Working Time Directive and other employment regulations.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in line with legal requirements.
Requirements:
* 3 years’ experience in a HR Management Role.
* A pragmatic attitude and highly professional approach.
* Strong understanding of employment law and legislation.
* Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
* Decisive planner and communicator who can quickly adapt when required and has the ability to communicate with all levels within the business.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced organisation.
* Confidence to challenge respectfully to influence business decisions.
* Passionate about people and engagement.
