Opportunity
We are seeking kind, caring, and empathetic people to join our ever-expanding Care team. Based in our Carlow Care Hub, you will play an integral role in providing remote support to clients that enable them to lead as independent lives as possible in their own homes. Our team of Care Specialists is responsible for treating our customers with dignity, sensitivity, and respect, taking time to listen, talk, and build a rapport with them.
This role will be ideally suited to candidates who have a naturally respectful and courteous attitude towards people and enjoy working within well-established processes and procedures. Successful applicants will:
* Use a variety of bespoke systems to deliver effective remote care to our clients
* Respond to events as per agreed customer care pathways
* Act as a point of contact for the circle of care of our customers
* Be responsible for inbound and outbound phone calls and at all times demonstrate an exceptional level of empathy, sensitivity, and professionalism.
* Create daily reports, which include contact made and actions taken.
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent, QQI level 5 in healthcare (preferred) or care skills & care of the elderly person equivalent.
* Cheerful and compassionate by nature with an ability to exercise good judgment in emergency situations and act on own initiative
* Good listening skills and sensitivity in giving emotional support
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Respect for confidentiality at all times
* Excellent communication skills in English are vital; both verbal and written
* A high level of IT literacy, especially MS Office and/or bespoke Management Information Systems
* Ability to adapt, learn quickly, and multitask effectively under pressure in a high-volume and fast-paced team environment
* A proven track record of performing consistently at a high level
* A team player who is flexible in order to meet business needs.
Due to the nature of our business, successful candidates are required to undergo a satisfactory background vetting, employment history, and criminal record check.
