Planning/Purchasing Administrator
We are delighted to be assisting a Major Manufacturing Company in Newtownabbey with the recruitment of a Planning/Purchasing Administrator.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Following company systems and procedures for stock control and management using Dynamics 365 (ERP/MRP)
* Placing and managing Purchase Orders for stock, consumables and special items as required, including liaising with suppliers
* Generating reports on supply performance, inventory levels and planning/purchasing activities - communicating issues to relevant stakeholders
* Monitoring production schedules to ensure alignment with order requirements, adjusting as necessary based on supply chain or manufacturing changes
* Coordinating with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
* Maintaining and updating planning and purchasing information
Requirements
* 1 year in a planning, purchasing or stock control role or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
* Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (like Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or similar) for managing inventory and production/purchasing activities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, inventory control, and reporting purposes
* Strong analytical skills for interpreting data related to inventory levels, production schedules, and supplier performance
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
