The Role
1 in 4 Saturday requirement
Salary is up to €30,500 commensurate with experience
Start date of May 2025

We are seeking a trustworthy, reliable and friendly person able to work in a fast-paced veterinary practice environment. The successful applicant must have:
1. Previous receptionist experience in any service-related industry
2. Experience in veterinary or animal care is beneficial but not essential
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Be competent with computers and learning new IT systems
5. Comfortable with cash handling
6. Demonstrate high standards of hygiene and cleaning
7. Be a team player
8. Possess great organizational skills
9. A love for animal welfare is a requirement

Our Knocknacarra referral practice offers a range of advanced services, including orthopaedic surgeries, endoscopy, ultrasound, and a dedicated referral dental suite. We handle both referral and first opinion cases. We have a dedicated team of 7 veterinary surgeons and experienced support staff.
