Import / Export Administrator (Full time - Hybrid) Atlantic Pacific Global Logistics are part of Atlantic Pacific Group, a privately owned business operating from multiple locations around the UK, USA and Ireland. The Role: You will manage import and export cargo, from the initial booking through to final consignee receiving goods. You will gain experience preparing shipping documents and customs clearance entries and full training will be offered. Responsibilities: Create bookings. Arranging delivery/collection of goods with our third party suppliers. Arranging customs documents, Bills of Lading and other documents relating to shipping goods. Updating clients with revised estimated time of arrival/departure information Dealing with any customer queries in a timely fashion. Ad hoc duties as prescribed by management. Requirements: Self-motivated with good communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative. Good Microsoft Office Skills, with an emphasis on Excel and Outlook. Experience in multi modal shipping industry is a distinct advantage (Sea/Air/Road) Knowledge of customs clearance would be a distinct advantage. A positive can do attitude. Ability to multitask within a busy environment. Good typing skills. Irish work authorisation is required. Terms:Permanent full-time, based in Cork. Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm with a one hour break every day. However, flexibility is required with this role. Salary: €30,000 - €35,000 DOE. Company laptop and company mobile phone provided.
