Our client is a well-established and reputable professional services firm offering audit, accounting, tax compliance, business advisory, outsourced corporate, and company secretarial services. Their client base spans multiple industries, including corporate enterprises, multinational subsidiaries, and not-for-profit organizations. Key Responsibilities:
* Governance & Compliance: Oversee and manage all company secretarial functions for clients, including maintaining statutory registers, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and advising on best practices.
* Regulatory Liaison: Prepare and file statutory returns and documents with regulatory authorities. Liaise with regulatory bodies and external advisors to address client needs.
* Board Support: Organize and attend board meetings, draft agendas, and prepare accurate minutes.
* Client Advisory: Provide expert guidance on corporate governance issues and compliance challenges, building trust with senior client stakeholders.
* Policy Development: Develop and implement company secretarial policies and procedures to support efficient operations.
* Training & Collaboration: Provide training to clients and internal teams on company secretarial matters to enhance overall compliance capabilities.
* Stay Updated: Monitor and communicate changes in legislation and regulations that impact company secretarial practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Professional qualification (e.g., ICSA or equivalent) is essential.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a company secretarial role.
* Strong knowledge of compliance, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements.
* Proficiency in company secretarial software and tools (e.g., Relate) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
