Role Overview:
We are expanding our development team and are looking for a full-time Project Manager to lead the planning and environmental assessment phase of our onshore wind and solar projects. In this role, you will collaborate with various teams, including external consultants, to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for renewable energy projects.
* Procure and manage external consultants, including planning experts, ecologists, and other specialists.
* Coordinate communications and engage with external stakeholders such as local communities, landowners, and planning authorities.
* Work closely with the internal development team to identify risks and evaluate proposals for risk mitigation.
* Track project progress and provide updates on milestones and deliverables to senior management and investment teams.
* Gather and share industry insights and project data with the team.
* Contribute technical expertise to investment committee discussions throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
* A Bachelor's degree in Ecology, Planning, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
* Understanding of the Planning and Environmental Impact Assessments process for onshore wind projects.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach.
* Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
* Strong problem-solving abilities.
