Job Title: Production Operations Manager
The Production Operations Manager is responsible for the effective management of all site operations, including three production lines. The role involves ensuring that all products are manufactured to specification and working closely with Quality Assurance (QA) and New Product Development (NPD) teams to ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all site operations, including planning, scheduling, and order completion for all products produced on-site.
* Implement standard operating procedures to drive efficiencies and operational excellence.
* Actively manage operational efficiency to increase outputs, minimize waste, and reduce downtime.
* Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness for food safety and ensure health and safety compliance at all times.
* Effectively manage resources and identify and develop team members' skills through coaching, delegation, performance reviews, and cross-training.
* Collaborate with other functions in the business to achieve company goals and objectives.
Requirements:
* Proven track record in management, preferably in the food industry.
* Possess a passion for food and good quality ingredients.
* Hold a 3rd level food science or related qualification with HACCP and BRC knowledge.
* Able to work to strict deadlines and targets.
* Minimum 5 years' relevant experience within the food industry at management level.
* Demonstrate financial/cost awareness.
* Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to develop and lead team members with attention to detail.
