Job Description
Key Accountabilities-
* Over 10 year of experience in Accessibility testing for Web and Mobile based applications
* Evaluate Mobile app, websites, and applications to ensure they are accessible to people with disabilities.
* Use automated testing tools (prefer BrowserStack, Evinced, JAWS, talkover) and manual techniques to identify accessibility issues.
* Understand and implement Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and other relevant accessibility standards.
* Document and report accessibility issues, providing detailed information about the nature and location of the problem.
* Collaborate closely with development teams to rectify accessibility issues.
* Conduct usability testing with individuals with disabilities to gather qualitative data.
* Stay up-to-date with technology advancements and accessibility legislation.
* Provide recommendations and solutions to improve the accessibility of digital content.
* Prefer working in banking domain and lead the accessibility-testing project for online or mobile banking.
* Create and maintain comprehensive reports about the accessibility status of tested products.
* Familiarity with WCAG standards and conducting accessibility audits.
* Strong knowledge of assistive technologies (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver).
* Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA techniques.
* Deep understanding of accessibility non-functional requirements
* Added advantage if knowledge of NFRs and non-functional testing.
