We are seeking applications from energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team for the above positions. The successful candidate will be afforded all necessary training and development in line with the role.
Job Objectives
We are seeking applications for the role of a House Keeper.
This will include the following on a day-to-day basis:
1. To report any concerns for the safety of our service users and patients in the Low Secure Unit to your line manager and or other manager within Nua for appropriate address in-line with company policy.
2. To act responsibly, at all-times, and to co-operate with our regulators in the very best interests of our service and the people who use them.
3. Respect patients and their families showing dignity, courtesy, and professionalism at all times.
4. Act as an advocate for patients, as appropriate.
5. Assist in the provision of a quality service and work in line with national and locally devised policies and regulations.
6. Maintain the confidentiality of all information made available to him / her during the course of his / her work.
7. To ensure the ward environment is maintained to the highest hygienic standards.
8. To complete day to day cleaning responsibilities as outlined within the role specific key task list.
9. Maintain a strict code of personal and general hygiene in the workplace as per work schedules and existing policies and procedures.
10. Carry out assigned and delegated responsibilities involving direct care and all activities of daily living under supervision.
11. When directed be responsible for the general cleaning of the area as identified by the Supervisor and ensure the agreed standard of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained in all areas and appropriately documented in line with national and locally devised policies and regulations.
12. When directed be responsible for the preparation and serving of food in line with national and local policies and standards
13. Report any equipment faults to the Lead Housekeeping / Facilities Manager and ensure all equipment is stored safely.

Skills Requirement
Experience:
14. 1 Years’ previous experience in a similar role.

15. Experience of / with people with additional and/or complex needs.

17. The ability to adapt to new environments.
18. Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills under pressure, ability to work on your own initiative.
