Supply Chain Manager - Biotech Plant - Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

Our client is a leading international biotechnology company with a state-of-the-art aseptic manufacturing facility in Dun Laoghaire, South Dublin.
The plant is one of the most dynamic in Ireland, currently undergoing rapid expansion and capital investment.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in Ireland's leading aseptic manufacturing plant.
The Supply Chain Planning Manager owns and manages the medium to long-term supply plan for assigned products, forecasting, planning, and scheduling to ensure optimal inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing scrap and enhancing supply reliability.
Responsibilities include managing capacity planning, assessing inventory positions, ensuring a stable supply plan, developing scenario analyses, collaborating with supply sites and the global supply chain team, managing product lifecycle changes, SOP updates, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
The role requires minimal supervision, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to handle diverse issues including supply, product launches, regulatory filings, and transition plans.
Systems used include SAP, Rapid Response/APO, CDOCS, CCMS, QMTS.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent
* SAP ECC Planning and Rapid Response experience
* End-to-end supply chain planning knowledge
* GMP experience
* Project management skills
* Proficiency in Excel, Word, MS Project
* Strong communication skills
* Master’s Degree or APICS certification
* Knowledge of regulatory and pharmaceutical processes
* Ability to perform root cause analysis
* Self-starter, team player, adaptable
Package:
Minimum 12-month contract, potential for extension.
Flexible work schedule, up to 2 days onsite per week, with occasional onsite events each quarter.
