Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in a busy Hotel operation in Co Cork.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day kitchen operations, driving new ideas, and maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of chefs to achieve excellent service standards
* Develop and implement new menus and dishes
* Maintain accurate kitchen financials, including GP, forecasting, costings, and budgets
* Recruit, train, and develop the existing team, while growing the kitchen brigade
* Support other team members and contribute to a positive work environment
* Work flexible hours to meet business demands
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Head Chef in a Hotel or similar environment
* Strong kitchen management skills and ability to maintain high standards
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to develop and implement new ideas and menus
* Familiarity with kitchen financials and budgeting
* Flexibility to work a varied schedule
