Were looking for an enthusiastic and driven professional to take ownership of all environmental functions at our clients site. This role is a key player in ensuring day-to-day environmental compliance and performance, while also leading a range of sustainability and environmental improvement projects. Key Responsibilities Ensure full compliance with the site's EPA license, including all relevant communications with external authorities. Oversee the operation, performance, and cost management of the on-site Effluent Treatment Plant, including reporting and resource planning. Lead the sites Energy & Resource Team in achieving reduction targets for energy, water, and carbon through effective measurement, analysis, and reporting. Gather, analyze, and report data on effluent, energy, water, waste, and sustainability to support KPIs and continuous improvement. Maintain and enhance site environmental and energy management systems (ISO 14001 and ISO 50001). Conduct regular environmental and energy audits to identify opportunities for improvement and build climate resilience. Manage all waste streams on-site in alignment with corporate sustainability goals. Collaborate closely with the groups environmental team on future sustainability strategies and initiatives. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service partners, including contractors. What Were Looking For A third-level qualification in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (B. Sc./B. E. preferred). 13 years of relevant experience, ideally within the food or manufacturing sectors. Experience with audits and regulatory interactions. A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills. Solid understanding of environmental, mechanical, and electrical engineering principles. Strong data management and reporting capabilities, with attention to environmental legislation and compliance. Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. Fluent English and exceptional communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a larger operational team. Skills: management organizational EPA lisence
