Responsibilities:
1. Providing direct care and support to children in residential care.
2. Building strong relationships with children, families, and other stakeholders.
3. Creating a safe and nurturing environment for children.
4. Encouraging and supporting children to achieve their goals and aspirations.
5. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on each child’s progress.
6. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of care plans.
7. Ensuring that all policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
Qualifications:
1. Level 7 qualification (degree) or above in one of the following:
1. Social Care
2. Social Work
3. Health and Social
4. Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy
5. Youth & Community
6. Teaching
7. Nursing
8. Social Science
9. Addiction Counselling
10. Counselling / Psychotherapy
11. Family Support
12. Disability Studies
13. Applied Behavioural Analysis
14. Early Years Care
2. Level 8 qualification (Honours degree) or above in one of the following:
1. Psychology
Skills:
1. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
4. A commitment to the welfare and protection of children.
