Maintenance Fitter - Medical Devices
Our client partner is a globally recognised brand in Medical Device Manufacturing, based in a technology campus in North Kildare. With 25% increase in production output forecast for 2025, they are seeking skilled professionals to join their high-performance engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on high-speed production lines and robotics units.
* Execute a best-in-class maintenance programme across up-to-date production and packaging lines as well as sophisticated robots used in sterile medical device manufacturing.
* Provide day-to-day engineering services in a busy high-speed manufacturing environment.
* Ensure zone/line performance and overall maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery.
Requirements:
* At least 3 years' trade experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter.
* Highly competent in using PLC for fault finding.
* National Craft Senior Trades Mechanical Qualification or an Equivalent to Trade Qualification.
* Excellent communication and people skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in High Volume Regulated GMP Manufacturing and process background or FMCG, Bottling, Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical or related industries.
* Lean Six Sigma environment.
* Knowledge of GMP or BRC or Clean Room regulations.
* PLC/Controller programming experience.
