Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Cork for a Logistics & Accounts Executive. The candidate will be responsible for tasks related to supply chain management, customer service, and accounts department.
* Reporting directly to the Managing Director, your responsibilities will include:
* Accounts Payable, posting purchase invoices, recording of supplier payments and reconciliation of supplier accounts.
* Accounts Receivable: Preparation of sales invoices. Managing electronic receipts and following up on outstanding balances.
* Bank Reconciliation of bank accounts.
* Monitoring daily communication and answering any queries.
* Manage the flow of paperwork and information relevant to Import / Export movements and inventory management.
* Liaise with suppliers, transporters, brokers and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
* Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventories.
* Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
* Prepare and process orders, invoices, and shipping documents.
* Maintain organized records and documentation for all logistics activities.
* Respond to customer queries and provide information related to product availability, movements etc.
* Resolve any logistics-related issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, transporters, and customers.
* Other ad hoc duties as required.
Qualifications
* Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
* Experience in Supply Chain Management
* Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
* Knowledge of logistics operations and processes
* Knowledge of Customs Clearance procedures
* Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
