Salary: 27,000-29,000 per annum
A private international boarding school for boys located in Wicklow, the ‘Garden of Ireland’. Catering for about 100 students and teachers daily. This is a 52 week contract operating 7 days a week with shift patterns of 5 out of 7.
We are looking for a talented Chef De Partie to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Co Wicklow.
You will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level, and be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients and regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.
Key responsibilities:
* Work well in a team of chefs providing catering services to pupils and teachers
* Produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the company's brand standards
* Ensure company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled
* Follow all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures
You will have the following skills:

* Understanding of food cost and wastage
* Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good understanding and use of verbal English
* Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good standard of written English and reading skills
* Similar experience in customer and/or food preparation environment is preferred
