Manufacturing Engineer Opportunity
Cork based 12 month contract opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to work on dynamic projects and grow within a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, qualify, and implement robust manufacturing processes for various projects.
* Ensure project activities align with procedures and controls ensuring product quality and performance meet specified standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
* Work closely with functional stakeholders to efficiently implement technical, validation, and regulatory strategies while maintaining compliance and managing risk appropriately.
* Coordinate and execute project plans by effectively communicating with internal and external partners.
* Lead effective communication and stakeholder management processes within the project scope, ensuring consistent documentation of project and program activities.
* Develop mechanical designs from concept through to final implementation, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
* Manage project timelines, materials, and documentation to ensure project completion within budget and schedule.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to facilitate seamless project execution.
* Conduct testing and simulations on equipment and systems to validate designs and ensure functionality.
* Analyse test results and implement modifications as necessary to enhance performance and reliability.
* Ensure all designs comply with applicable safety standards and regulatory requirements.
* Participate in quality assurance processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
Requirements:
* Level 8 degree in Engineering-Manufacturing, Mechanical or a related field.
* In-depth knowledge of medical device manufacturing and validation processes.
* 2-4 years experience in the medical device industry.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively within a team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a solutions-focused approach.

* Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum
