CPL on behalf of a public sector organisation have a requirement for a Senior Project Manager. The duration of this post is 12 months. There is a possibility of extension thereafter for further projects, subject to performance.
Working 35 hours per week the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an annualised salary of €78,. You will accrue 30 days' annual leave per annum (paid Bank Holidays).
The role is based in Drogheda, Co Louth with a blended working model in place. A minimum of 2 days a week in Drogheda (Thursday and one other another day).
The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating with various stake holders across the health sector.
Purpose of the Post:
1. Lead and drive a major change management project within the Irish Healthcare system, ensuring its successful completion within a 12-month timeframe.
2. Take ownership of the project, providing strategic direction and proactive leadership to achieve project milestones and objectives.
3. Coordinate and manage a diverse group of stakeholders, including clinical, operational, technical, and governance representatives, ensuring their engagement and alignment with project goals.
4. Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive project plans, strategies, and timelines to drive the project to completion.
5. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders, fostering a unified approach to project delivery.
6. Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the project remains on track and addressing any issues promptly to avoid delays.
7. Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices within the healthcare sector throughout the project lifecycle.
8. Promote continuous improvement and innovation in project management processes and methodologies to enhance project outcomes.
9. Provide strong leadership and direction to project team members, cultivating a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
10. Manage resources efficiently and oversee project budgets to achieve project goals within the allocated time and financial constraints.
11. Engage with senior leadership and other key stakeholders to secure necessary support and resources for the successful completion of the project.

Qualifications and Experience
12. Experience of working with or leading projects of national significance with business, technical, governance and legal activities across the lifecycle of the project.
13. Significant business operations, change management and/or project management experience including experience of using structured change and project methodologies to deliver projects to successful outcomes in a complex environment.
· A qualification in Health Administration, Project Management, Business or a related field
· Project management certification is desirable but not essential
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of successful project delivery
· Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
· Proficiency in project management software and tools
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
