Health & Safety Advisor & Trainer Permanent, Full-time with option of Hybrid working Full job description Safetech Consulting & Training Ltd. are seeking for a Full-Time Health & Safety Advisor & Trainer to join their team. The business is a leading supplier of health and safety services and training to companies across a wide range of business sectors (public & private) throughout Ireland. The role will provide vast experience across all sectors. The role involves the following: this is an outline of the role and is by no means an exhaustive list: Auditing and inspections on client construction sites Carrying out Risk Assessments and providing advice to clients Carry out GAP Analysis Audits and providing expert advice to clients Contributing to existing client relationships and being the face of the business Development of health and safety documentation, including safety statements, risk assessments, COSHH assessments, method statements, safe systems of work etc Conducting risk assessment on client premises, work activities and equipment Assisting clients with their compliance requirements Implementation of health and safety management systems Investigation of accidents, near misses, dangerous occurrences and cases of ill health, reporting and recommendation of actions to follow Keeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation General administration & office-based duties Guidance, support, and advice to clients in line with regulatory requirements Attending and exhibiting at various related conferences Experience/Qualifications Required: Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent is essential Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a health and safety professional & trainer Experience in the construction safety is preferred Environmental qualification or Fire Safety qualification an advantage Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team.
