We're seeking an exceptionally hardworking and forward-thinking Maintenance Electrician to join our team based in Bray, Dublin. This role involves various tasks related to electrical systems and equipment to improve performance and availability.
The successful candidate will be part of the Maintenance Team, working alongside other fitters and electricians to create a real impact on installation teams for new machinery and equipment in Ireland.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assemble, install, test, maintain, repair, and replace electrical components using hand and power tools.
Detect malfunctions, test electrical systems for accurate operation, and inspect equipment for hazards or defects. Provide advice to management on equipment operation.
Use a range of tools and equipment to work at heights installing and repairing electrical wiring and equipment.
Plan and perform installations while adhering to codes, prepare sketches, and update drawings for accurate records.
Pull wires through conduits, construct parts, and dismantle/assemble equipment with precision.
Maintain detailed records of breakdowns and repairs, collaborate with maintenance fitters, and contribute to equipment modifications.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Fully qualified Electrician in Ireland
Electrical proficiency to diagnose and tackle problems, read electrical drawings
Knowledge of Mechanical containment installations (conduit, cable ladder, trunking etc.)
Ability to work from heights (ladders, MEWP)
