I am currently recruiting for a QA/QC professional to assist one of our major clients on a large-scale solar development in County Longford, Ireland.
Location: County Longford, Ireland
Working arrangement: On-site working Monday-Friday
Contract length: Initial 12 months recurring with the view to remobilize to future projects upon completion.
Start date: Mid March 2025.
Key skills and qualifications desired for the role:
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Preferably a degree in mechanical, civil, or electrical engineering.
2. Knowledge of the energy sector.
3. English proficiency (mandatory).
4. Availability to travel.
Key Skills:
1. Ability to quickly understand the scope of the project and the project team environment.
2. Knowledge and experience working with ITPs/RAMS.
3. Very good communication skills.
4. Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, and negotiate successful solutions.
5. IT proficiency with Excel, general IT software, and safety passport application experience.
6. Ability to analyze data from a variety of sources.
7. Positive attitude.
8. Ability and willingness to learn on the job and take on all feedback and advice from the site team.
Key responsibilities for the role:
1. Support the supervision of the execution of installation works performed by contractors and subcontractors, ensuring full compliance with safety and quality standards and procedures.
2. Support in the management and organization of quality control and document management, ensuring compliance and organization of ITPs, checklists, and RAMs by the different stakeholders.
3. Support in verifying the quality control of the work carried out, ensuring compliance with documentation and project drawings and using previously approved materials through inspections of work areas and materials.
4. Support in the organization and document management of logistics of the work, reception, and compliance of received materials.
5. Support in the resolution of non-conformities and process management until they are closed.
