The Hardiman - Kitchen Porter

Reporting directly to the Head Chef, the Kitchen Porter will play a pivotal role in delivering on customer expectations.
Requirements:
1. To carry out the kitchen standard operating procedures to the correct standard;
2. Ensure the highest quality of cleanliness is maintained in the kitchen and back of house areas;
3. To remove all refuse from the kitchen and dispose of it in line with agreed procedures;
4. To store all crockery, glassware and cutlery in accordance with departmental standards;
5. To keep the pot wash area in a clean and organised manner ensuring that all pots, pans, etc. are stored in accordance with departmental standards;
6. To ensure all duties are completed prior to going off duty;
7. To follow the agreed HACCP standards as trained;
The Person:
1. Previous experience in a busy hotel kitchen
2. Have basic English
3. Be hardworking
4. Have excellent attention to detail
5. Be flexible to work with various shifts
6. Team player
