Team Leader Purchased Material Inspection
Location: Dublin - Perm
Job Responsibilities:
* Oversee inspection processes for components and mechatronic assemblies, ensuring alignment with manufacturing requirements.
* Lead and execute tasks such as First Article Inspection Reports, lot inspections, visual and dimensional testing, disposition of defective items, and verification of rework results.
* Ensure prompt initiation and completion of stock purges to minimize disruptions to production workflows.
* Supervise the performance of the Purchased Material Inspection team, driving the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and serving as the primary escalation point for resolving challenges through collaboration with team members and cross-functional partners.
* Cultivate a culture of positive employee relations and collaboration by delivering effective feedback, fostering communication, and maintaining goal-oriented leadership.
* Proactively address obstacles affecting daily objectives in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment. Champion robust manufacturing practices, uphold quality standards, and spearhead process improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements:
* Ideally with 3 years + relevant experience leading a team.
* Minimum of a third level qualification (Degree QQI level 8) in an appropriate discipline (Quality Management, Mechatronics, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering) OR appropriate and commensurate experience.
* Strong working knowledge / experience of general Quality inspection activities with a background in problem solving in a dynamic regulated environment with tight deadlines.
* Knowledge and application experience with manufacturing techniques and process controls is expected.
