FRS Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading International Agribusiness to fill the role of Technical Sales Advisor - Agri for the East Wicklow region of Ireland. This is a full-time permanent position offering excellent benefits.
The company sources, produces, and sells a complete range of conventional commodity fertilizers as well as specialty fertilizer and soil conditioning products. They also sell a full range of animal mineral blocks and bio-stimulants.
About the Role
You will be passionate about your work and deliver superior technical advice at a local level on farm. The client's successful growth is based on the quality of their product range and superior technical advice on-farm.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients in the agricultural industry.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local co-ops and merchants.
- Provide technical advice and support to farmers regarding the company's range of products and soil sustainability program.
- Attend trade shows and other industry events to promote the company's products and services.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales targets and identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
About You
- Commercial knowledge, sales, and advisory skills experience.
- From a farming background with excellent knowledge of farming or possess a qualification relevant to the industry.
- Willing to work hard to succeed in a rapidly changing market-place.
- Technically minded with an ability to create and close sales opportunities.
- Highly motivated and driven to succeed in a challenging direct sales environment.
- Full driver's license.
- Graduates with Level 7 or above Degrees will be considered.
- Knowledge of the region.
