We are looking for someone with a strong grasp of the Irish market, how buildings, estates, towns, and cities work and can be decarbonised through integrated low-carbon projects, and demonstrable project management skills.
What you’ll do!

Job Duties:
* Lead or support the technical delivery of decarbonisation projects.
* Support clients in developing suitable decarbonisation strategies and targets.
* Advise clients and project teams on key low carbon initiatives to drive decarbonisation.
* Build relationships with clients and key contacts around the business and wider industry.
* Manage technical and commercial aspects of projects including fees, scope, and resource planning.
* Mentor and guide junior consultants/engineers.
* Prepare and lead tenders and proposals for work winning.
* Join the broader AECOM sustainability practice, network with colleagues, and engage other internal project opportunities.

Qualifications

Requirements:
* A passion and enthusiasm for sustainability & decarbonisation.
* A good understanding of the Irish market, building design and construction process.
* Experience in leading or supporting technical project delivery for large (i.e. portfolio/estate) to small scale projects.
* Knowledge of Irish policies, targets and services in decarbonisation.
* Effective client-facing and networking skills, including presentations.
* Track record of project and/or programme management.
* Experience in work winning, including tender responses and bid writing.
Preferred Qualifications
* Degree relating to sustainability; engineering, physical or social sciences, or other complementary disciplines.
* Chartered status or working towards Chartership (e.g. CEng, CEnv) would be beneficial.
