We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a critical procurement framework for the Asset Operations team. This is a key role within the organisation, requiring a PM who can manage complex projects and navigate a diverse range of stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be adept at driving consensus, ensuring alignment, and delivering results through effective team coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of a procurement framework for the Asset Operations team.
2. Develop and manage the PQQ process, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and completed to the highest standards.
3. Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams to ensure consensus on content and approach.
4. Oversee the preparation and review of procurement documents, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
5. Engage with and manage diverse stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration throughout the project.
6. Present to steering groups and senior leadership, providing updates on progress, risks, and any required actions.
7. Act as the primary point of contact for the project, ensuring effective stakeholder management and issue resolution.
8. Ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with all relevant governance standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1. Proven experience in project management, ideally with a background in delivering procurement projects.
2. PMP certification (preferred) or equivalent project management qualification.
3. Strong background in leading complex procurement projects with a focus on frameworks, tendering, and vendor management.
4. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence diverse groups of stakeholders.
5. Experience in presenting to senior management and steering groups, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
6. Ability to lead teams, facilitate discussions, and drive consensus across cross-functional groups.
7. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
8. Knowledge of procurement processes and frameworks, particularly within asset management or related industries.
9. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to address and resolve issues proactively.
Preferred Location: Cork, but Dublin-based candidates will also be considered. Hybrid working model with 2 days per week in the office.
