Our client, a leading international company in the Supply Chain industry, is seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join their North Dublin operation for a permanent position.

Role Overview:
* Promote and maintain a safe and efficient work environment that fosters health, quality, and output across multiple sites.
* Provide exceptional customer service and drive the same standards throughout the business and team.
* Develop long-term relationships with customers at all levels.
* Lead and manage operational teams and warehouse operations.
* Motivate and develop a team to achieve site strategy and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Understand and manage daily warehouse operations.
* Monitor and investigate SLA performance issues on a daily and weekly basis.
* Exceed customer expectations through proactive teamwork.
* Communicate effectively with customers and team members through various channels.
* Organize workflow to meet customer deadlines.
* Respond promptly to customer inquiries, investigate, and resolve complex issues.
* Implement corrective action plans and communicate with stakeholders.
* Participate in implementation processes and set up SLA/SOP customer profiles.
* Ensure compliance with customer SOP/SLA and collaborate with production units.
* Attend scheduled operational and review meetings.
* Pursue efficiency improvements in collaboration with other functional groups.
Skills and Experience:
* Evidence of consistent excellence in customer service is essential.
* Proven success in leading a team, managing underperformers, and staff development.
* Excellent operational knowledge, preferably in a Contract Logistics/3PL environment.
* Able to develop teams and drive change in an operational environment.
* Strong customer service skills are essential.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage high workloads.
* A passion for service excellence and a commitment to responsiveness to customer needs.
* High energy levels, sound judgment, and determination to achieve operational targets.
* Positive attitude, motivated, and enthusiastic.
* Good listener and communicator.
* Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications/Education:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (a bonus but not essential).
* Previous experience as an Operations Manager.
* Minimum 5 years' similar previous experience essential.
* Good level of Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel.
* Ability to motivate a team, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple deadlines essential.
