Assistant Restaurant Manager
We are currently seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our exceptional restaurant team at The Europe Hotel & Resort. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, five-star environment, supporting and developing a high-performing team while ensuring the delivery of world-class dining experiences. You will play a key role in maintaining service excellence, training new team members, and enhancing guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead by example, ensuring an exceptional standard of service is consistently delivered.
* Train, supervise, and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professional development.
* Maintain in-depth knowledge of menu offerings, including food, wine, and beverage pairings.
* Ensure seamless restaurant operations, from service execution to team coordination.
* Anticipate and respond effectively to guest needs, enhancing their dining experience.
* Address guest feedback and complaints promptly, ensuring resolutions that uphold our five-star standards.
* Plan and oversee daily restaurant activities, ensuring efficient service flow.
* Manage restaurant staffing levels to maintain optimal service standards.
* Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene regulations in line with company policies.
* Assist in financial and stock management, contributing to revenue growth and cost control.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a leadership role within a fine dining or five-star hospitality setting is a must.
* Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service – a Sommelier certification is an advantage.
* Commitment to staff training, mentorship, and team development.
* A proactive, can-do attitude with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards are maintained while remaining calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
* Impeccable personal presentation and grooming standards.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-quality service environment.
* Financial acumen and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Fluent in English (both verbal and written) is essential
