In this role you will drive program delivery in line with the organization's project management methodology. You will be responsible for leading key elements of the Lib3rty program and acting as the program voice for your given workstream. You will also take ownership of the successful implementation of a set of projects that collectively can comprise a program and manage the work of project managers. It will be a very big plus if you can bring experience in developing projects or sites from square one.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the project management activities for a given workstream/manufacturing line.
2. Lead collaboration efforts across key stakeholders to ensure project risks are clearly understood & communicated in a timely manner.
3. Develop and champion governance and reporting structures to ensure project transparency and accountability.
4. Drive task & deliverable adherence to established schedule through the daily & weekly Tier meetings.
5. Develop project plans (incl. scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation) & challenge existing program schedules.
6. Build an in-depth understanding of your given workstream to drive valuable input to team discussions.
7. Lead problem-solving workshops to identify program gaps.
8. Identify and resolve operational problems to mitigate schedule impact.
9. Evaluate and authorize changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of the program.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Project Management experience (PMP/Prince 2/IPM certification or similar is desired).
2. Ideally, experience leading large capital projects at medical device manufacturing sites.
3. Understanding of project lifecycle & how to manage the transition of projects from concept to planning & execution at site level.
4. Advanced MS Project & MS Excel experience.
5. Experience with Manufacturing & Quality documentation.
6. Strong communication and influencing skills.
7. Strong problem-solving skills – ideally evidenced through leadership of workshop style sessions.
8. Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate.
9. Influencing without authority.
10. People management experience is desirable but not required.
11. Minimum Level 7 Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Science or related discipline.
12. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role with > 5 years’ experience being ideal.
