We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support & Infrastructure professional to join our team at Kepak Clonee. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, including SQL skills, strong networking, VMWare/Veeam and have experience in providing IT support in a manufacturing or similar environment.
As an IT Support & Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems and equipment within the factory.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support: Offer prompt and efficient troubleshooting, problem resolution, and technical assistance to all staff regarding IT systems, software, and hardware.
* Maintain and repair IT infrastructure: Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, network equipment, and peripherals such as printers and scanners, switches, Access points etc.
* User account management: Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights for staff across various systems, ensuring security and compliance with company policies.
* IT inventory management: Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment, including tracking software licenses, conducting regular audits, and coordinating with vendors for repairs and replacements.
* Network administration: Technical lead in managing Kirkham’s local area network (LAN), ensuring proper connectivity, security, and performance – including VLAN’s, Aruba Central, Meraki WiFi setups. Sophos XG Firewall administration advantageous.
* Software support: Install, configure, and provide support for factory-specific software applications used across the production environment.
* Documentation and training: Develop and update technical documentation, guidelines, and standard operating procedures for IT systems and train staff on their usage.
Minimum Requirements:
* Education and experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
* Proven experience working as an IT Support Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly desirable.
* VMWare/Hyper-V/Veeam: A good understanding of VMWare virtualisation and experience with Veeam backup and replication a must. Hyper-V advantageous.
* Technical skills: Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues. Familiarity with Windows operating systems, networking concepts, and server administration.
