Manufacturing Engineer Position

Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support for the manufacturing and testing of medical devices in a regulated, high-complexity, low-volume environment.
* Deliver technical solutions to enhance product reliability and process capabilities.
* Support engineering change processes, design transfers, and the optimization of part designs and manufacturing technologies.
* Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing operations, quality, and procurement teams to improve products and supply chains.
* Manage product and process change activities, including technology transfers, ensuring a continuous supply.
* Optimize complex processes to improve performance and efficiency.
* Lead projects aimed at continuous improvement, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, and A3 Problem Solving Principles.
Requirements:
* A blend of technical, design, and manufacturing expertise, particularly in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
* Strong understanding of supplier manufacturing technologies, including metal fabrication, machining, casting, plastic molding, PCBAs, cables, optics, and fluidics.
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional and cross-site product optimization projects.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to process and analyze large datasets for decision-making.
* An interest in data visualization and analytics.
* Strong communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
* Self-directed, goal-oriented, and capable of prioritizing workloads in an Agile environment.
* A collaborative, team-focused mindset, able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
