Change Manager - PMO
We are assisting our client, a leading public sector organization undertaking a large-scale transformation programme to recruit a skilled and pragmatic Change Manager to lead and deliver a high-profile change and transformation programme.
Key Responsibilities
* Change Strategy and Planning:
o Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy for the programme.
o Identify risks, barriers, and enablers for change adoption and devise mitigation strategies.
o Define and track measurable outcomes and benefits of the transformation programme.
* Stakeholder Management:
o Build strong relationships with internal teams, public agencies, and industry operators to drive collaboration and alignment.
o Ensure effective communication and engagement with all stakeholders, tailored to their specific needs and concerns.
o Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on the change programme's impact and progress.
* People and Culture:
o Manage the people side of technology delivery, ensuring that impacted individuals and groups are supported through the transition.
o Design and deliver training, support, and resources to enable successful adoption of new systems and processes.
o Foster a culture of openness, adaptability, and continuous improvement within the organization.
* Programme Execution:
o Oversee the implementation of the change programme, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
o Monitor progress, identify issues, and take proactive corrective actions.
o Work closely with the PMO to ensure alignment with overall project goals and governance standards.
Qualifications and Experience
* Essential:
o Demonstrable experience in leading large-scale change and transformation programmes, particularly in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
o Strong background in change management methodologies and tools (e.g., PROSCI, ADKAR, or similar).
o Proven ability to manage the people aspects of technology delivery and foster stakeholder buy-in.
o Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
o Experience working within a PMO or equivalent structured project delivery environment.
* Desirable:
o Experience in the transport, public services, or infrastructure sectors.
o Certification in change management or project management (e.g., PROSCI, PMP, PRINCE2).
o Knowledge of public sector governance and regulatory requirements.
