Material Handler – Ireland – Contract
With worldwide demand for their life-changing oncology treatment increasing; one of our global pharmaceutical clients is looking for a Material Handler to join their team to support multiple capital projects taking place onsite in Leinster.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a state-of-the art fill-finish facility and the company’s first stand-alone vaccine and biologics plant outside the US.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Operate and/or monitor Weigh, Dispense activities, and support equipment, using SAP & MES PLC based systems, to ensure optimum equipment uptime and target outputs.
2. Equipment will include, yet is not limited to, down flow booth and scales.
3. Cleanroom cleaning, housekeeping and materials management in the Weigh and Dispense area. Ensure material availability to support operations.
4. Pick materials from stored locations in a GMP compliance managed location and transport the materials to the production area in accordance with the SOPs and GMP stated standards of performance.
5. To move materials from the production area to the warehouse or any other location within the facility in compliance with the site SOPs and GMP standards.
6. To work in a safe manner regarding the lifting and movement of materials.
7. Pack out materials and consume to order to simplify processes for IPT.
8. To check calibration of equipment ensuring the calibration is up to date. Using the EBR to dispense materials in weigh & dispense.
9. Manage equipment flow, including tracking soiled and clean hold times, proper labelling and inventory management of clean and sterile equipment using automated MES system.
Requirements:
10. Would typically have prior related work experience, ideally in a cleanroom environment, preferably in a GMP setting.
11. Knowledge of MES & SAP is desirable but not essential.
12. Forklift experience is desirable.
13. Leaving Certificate or equivalent required.
14. Apprenticeship, Certificate or Diploma preferred, ideally in a related discipline.
