Job Responsibilities:
1. Lead the team in the development of the project charter and management plan.
2. Direct, manage, monitor, and control the project.
3. Evaluate trade-offs within the project.
4. Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop, manage, and own project scope.
5. Create detailed Work Breakdown Structure.
6. Develop and manage the detailed project Gantt chart.
7. Analyse critical path, major workstreams, and intersecting milestones.
8. Own the project schedule.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional managers to define project budget.
10. Monitor and maintain costs within budget.
11. Partner with the project team to create project Quality Plans using 2-3 quality planning tools and techniques.
12. Monitor and maintain quality plans.
13. Develop a risk management plan for the project.
14. Identify, analyse, and understand project risks; develop and monitor a risk response plan.
15. Develop a Procurement Management Plan and collaborate on the selection of procurement partners.
16. Estimate, acquire, and assign cross-functional project resources.
17. Define the role, responsibility, and deliverables for each team member.
18. Provide direct feedback to functional managers on performance reviews.
19. Develop a Stakeholder management plan for the project based on the identification, analysis, and understanding of Stakeholder expectations.
20. Develop and execute the communications management plan for the project team and the needs of key stakeholders.
What you will need:
1. Honours Degree (Level 8) in Engineering or Project Management.
2. PMP or equivalent.
3. 4+ years of hands-on experience managing projects of increasing complexity required.
4. Build successful working relationships with internal and external personnel in various departments.
5. Understand quality system(s).
6. High in emotional intelligence and stays calm under pressure.
7. Adept in conflict resolution.
8. Drive results in support of the business, even in the face of demanding timelines.
9. Step up to take on additional responsibility where appropriate.
10. Adept at team management: select the right people for the right tasks while maintaining team morale and recognizing contributions.
11. Can influence without direct authority in a way that makes others want to be on their team.
12. Incorporate end-user feedback to refine scope through the project lifecycle and communicate changes, updates, and decisions to key stakeholders.
