Job Description
A dynamic and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant is required to join our Galway city based practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Irish Payroll experience: Manage payroll processing, including calculation of employee salaries and payment of statutory deductions.
* Irish VAT compliance: Ensure accurate and timely submission of VAT returns and reconciliation with company accounts.
* RCT (Revenue Commissioners Tax) obligations: Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with RCT requirements.
* Financial Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile Debtors, Creditors, Bank account, VAT Control account, and PAYE Control Account to ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Sole Trader Accounts preparation: Prepare financial statements from Trial Balance, providing a clear picture of the company's financial position.
* Form 11 preparation: Accurately complete Form 11, ensuring all necessary information is provided.
* Cloud Accounting management: Maintain and update cloud-based accounting software, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
* Client Management: Provide exceptional customer service, managing client relationships and expectations.
* Teamwork and adaptability: Collaborate effectively as part of a team and work independently, adapting quickly to new tasks and priorities.
* Communication and problem-solving: Possess excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
* Technical aptitude: Demonstrate proficiency in various accounting software and technologies, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
