Technical Support Manager required for a global consultancy business with Irish office in Limerick
This is a full-time permanent role with flexible work structure and occasional trips to the office in Limerick (once a month/fortnight i.e.) and the salary guide is up to €85K p.a. for the right candidate
This Technical Support Manager will be responsible for the development, management, and support of the Infrastructure and Database Administration team. The candidate will work closely with the other technical teams to provide a quality service to both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
* Lead, mentor and develop high performing technical teams supporting global customers (c10 people)
* Onboarding new customers, provision of Business-as-Usual services and the identification, planning and execution of process improvements.
* Manage & coordinate the team activities & ensure SLAs are met
* Data Analysis and forecasting to support capacity management and projected business requirements.
Requirements:
* 7+ experience in external customer support / consultancy / MSP sector
* Line management experience of similar sized teams
* Technical knowledge of Databases, ideally Oracle and SQL, hosted in cloud environment
* Working knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows), networking, communications functionality.
* Knowledge of data reporting tools
* Knowledge of IT Service Management and ITIL cert is desirable
