Business Analyst (Supply Chain)
This is a 12-month daily rate contract with a view to be extended. The role will be hybrid working.
Job Responsibilities:
* Lead the analysis phase of one or more projects, working closely with business owners, project managers, technology teams, vendors, and multiple stakeholders.
* Ensure business requirements are clearly documented using appropriate frameworks and methodologies.
* Facilitate and lead requirements-gathering sessions, driving consensus and documenting needs in line with project delivery methodologies and schedules.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define and agree on business requirements effectively.
* Translate business requirements into functional specifications for delivery teams, ensuring alignment with business needs.
* Work collaboratively on solution design and present outcomes to key stakeholders.
* Conduct detailed AS-IS and TO-BE process mapping to support business change initiatives and technical process design, playing a key role in change management and guiding stakeholders through the transition.
* Provide ongoing support throughout the delivery lifecycle, including business readiness, testing, training, and post-implementation support.
* Participate in planning, governance, and status updates while estimating work effort, adhering to schedules, and escalating issues as needed.
* Oversee data migration processes, including documenting legacy system data structures, mapping to new systems, and ensuring accurate migration, cleansing, testing, and loading.
Experience Required:
* 10+ years experience as a Business Analyst in large-scale transformation programs involving multiple interdependent applications.
* Proven experience in FMCG and/or Supply Chain environments delivering business analysis and technology-driven solutions.
* Hands-on experience implementing ERP systems (D365 F&O or equivalent), WMS, CRM, e Commerce platforms, digital portals, mobile applications, and reporting tools.
* Strong understanding of Finance processes (Co A, Financial Statements, General Ledger, Trial Balance, AP, AR, and Reporting) and their interaction with Supply Chain and Commercial functions.
* Experience working with multiple third-party vendors and integration technologies within complex IT landscapes.
* Ability to analyze complex business problems and communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
* Proficiency with Jira or Azure Dev Ops, including creating epics, features, and user stories.
* Strong skills in documentation, process mapping, functional specifications, requirements traceability, and feature writing.
* Comfortable engaging with third-party vendors, solution architects, and developers, with a working knowledge of design patterns and application architectures.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with strong commercial awareness.
Essential and Desirable Skills:
* Experience working with D365 F&O or similar ERP within an integrated multi-vendor environment.
* Prior experience in a Gx P-compliant environment.
* Strong data analysis skills, including data transformation, cleansing, and working with Excel, SQL, and database querying tools.
* Business Analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP, BCS) are an advantage.
Educational Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
